The Client | Newborns are Cassandra’s favorite subject to photograph. Tiny hands, tiny toes and a cute button nose are just a few of Cassandra’s favorite features to capture. As Cassandra combines her impeccable photographing technique and ability to handle moms & newborns with tender loving care she is able to create precious portraits that will be cherished for a lifetime. Cassandra prefers to photograph newborns as young as 5 hours old up to 2 weeks of age because at this time baby will sleep less soundly and curly up easily.
Booking | The birth of your baby is a momentous occasion and Cassandra loves to assist in capturing baby’s first moments from inside the belly with booking a maternity shoot to outside with a newborn shoot. With that in mind it’s never too early to book a photo session. Because your baby’s birth date is unpredictable, Cassandra is able to reserve a time frame for you if you are given an induction or c-section date.
The Investment | In-Studio Session Fee starts at $200. On-Location Session Fee starts at $300. Session fee is for time and talent only. Prints, birth announcements, books and canvases are available and are able to be purchased separately.
The Session | The location for your session is totally up to you as Cassandra can accommodate you for an in-studio session or off site location such as a park or in the comfort of your home. Cassandra requires baby’s to be fed at least 30mins. prior to shooting as shoots normally take up to 2 hours and she would like the baby to be as comfortable as possible while posing baby in various positions.
The Gallery | Approximately one week after your session, an on-line gallery of your images will be posted. Your link will be emailed to you along with a printable contact sheet of all images. Feel free to pass this link along to anyone who may be interested in viewing your portraits. The gallery will be live for two weeks. Once the gallery has expired, you can reference the contact sheet for future re-print orders.
